HOTEL REVIEW – The Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas Review

Recently on a trip out west, we had the chance to stay at The Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.

Located just off the south end of the strip, The Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas was a welcome site after a long day of driving.  It was very easy to drive to from the interstate and is just minutes from the airport.

The hotel has everything you would expect when vacationing in Las Vegas including a pool, a fitness center, shopping, 15 dining locations, several bars and of course, plenty of gaming.

Whether you like to relax and play the machines or if you want to be part of the action with the table games, there is something for everyone. While we were there, the Poker Room was packed and the table games had tons of excitement.

As we walked around the property, we noticed there were plenty of families.  This is a positive as we always look for locations that will be fun for the entire family.

The hotel does have a lot of options for adults, but it also has a 70 lane bowling alley, an 18 screen movie theater, an arcade, a food court, and a place called Kid’s Tyme Fun Center.  Children ages 3 to 12 can spend time in a supervised environment playing games, doing crafts, and climbing the enormous jungle gym.  While the kids play, mom and dad can head downstairs to the casino and have some fun too.

The Orleans Arena hosts over 200 events a year so be sure to check the calendar when booking your trip. As far as the room, we were lucky enough to stay in the tower.  I was pleased to see a security guard by the elevators.  That is a perk that is important to me as a guest.

The room was very spacious with a separate sitting area with a couch.  The bathroom was quite large with plenty of counter space.  There are several options when you book your room from deluxe to premium to deluxe suites.

We were quite pleased with our room except for a maintenance issue with a bathroom light.  We were told at check out that it would be addressed immediately.  The staff at the front desk was very professional and courteous with our concern.  Again, that is the kind of service I expect.

The Orleans Hotel and Casino Las Vegas is a place where you can try your luck in the casino, enjoy your time with friends and family, and make Vegas memories that will last a lifetime.  Be sure to check out http://www.orleanscasino.com/ to take a virtual tour of the property.  Book your stay and let the good times roll.
